How much weight have you lost?

>I’ve lost 55 pounds since beginning my health & fitness journey in October of 2016.

What is your current weight/height? 

>I am 5’6″ and my weight is irrelevant to you. Sounds sassy, I know. BUT, we are all composed differently. We have more and less fat on all different parts of our bodies. Our genes are all different. My weight does not matter. My happiness DOES.

>If you are living or pursuing a healthy lifestyle, your weight should not necessarily matter. Yes, it is okay to have goals. These goals might use the scale to help guide you toward a healthier lifestyle and MIGHT provide some sort of measure of your progress. Not always, though. Don’t spend your life focusing on the scale, but rather looking inward to find your healthiest, happiest self. 

What’s your favorite go-to recipe? 

>Oh, gawd. I’m a smoothie-girl at heart. Not necessarily a protein shake, but a smoothie with summer fruits and fresh greens…mmm. Check out my “Funfetti” Smoothie 😉

What music do you listen to? 

>Well, I listen to quite a few different genres. Classical music, of course. Mostly indie/alt/folk/ambient/relaxation/jazz/quality rap/etc. I can appreciate almost any genre…except new country. Sorry bout it.

Do you smoke or drink? 

>I most definitely do not smoke (I’m a vocalist) and I have an occasional drink, but I’m extremely sensitive to alcohol because I don’t drink often. My drink of choice is always a Moscow Mule or Mojito 😉

What does “Bodily Gratitude” mean? 

>Throughout my health and fitness journey, the way I treat & view my body has reallllllly transformed. I used to be ashamed, embarrassed, disgusted, and would flood my mind with negative self-talk every day. As I have learned more about nutrition, exercise, self-love, self-care, self-respect, and myself as a woman, I have gained an infinite amount of gratitude for my body and all of the things it does for me every day.
